All Electric Forehearths

Electroglass ‘Electroflex’ and ‘Electroseal’ All Electric Forehearths offer high energy efficiency solutions to the conditioning of conventional and special glasses, from soda-lime container glass to borosilicate, fluoride opals and lead crystals. 

‘Electroflex-W’ forehearths with channel widths of 48inches (1200mm) and 54 inches (1375mm) are specifically designed for high capacity multiple-gob container production.

Electroglass Electric Forehearths feature radiant element superstructure heating, with or without immersed electrode heating depending on glass type and application.  Profile radiant element heating, and centre line radiation cooling ensure optimum temperature homogeneity and precision temperature control.
